in this case you can switch off delay compensation all together multi output configurations are not delay compensated since FL10.
all OS5 does is warning you and it offers you a solution (the stereo version). you don't need to take on this offer and continue to work with the multi output version. as for delay compensation, see above ...
marcBut multiouts do work since FL 10, just need to do a workaround by assigning tracks to dummy mixer track or by turning off Automatic PDC (it is possible to do that)
-
FL10 introduced automatic plug-in delay compensation (PDC). as it turned out, it only works correctly for stereo but not for multi output plug-ins.
the manual PDC, which FL studio user enjoyed before worked fine with multi output plug-ins such as virus control. if you want to use Virus Control's multi output configuration, you either need to use a version before FL10 or contact Imageline and make them fix the issue. there is nothing we can do about it.
best, marcSo as i understand the issue is that Multi outs are not compensated right?
oh then its no news to me i thought i missed something, but its the same case of behaviour in OS4 too.
-
im quite confused, so what is the problem with OS5?
-
doesnt matter if i created or not, it just doesnt play
-
Sounds like voice stealing. Does it happen when the track where the long note appears is soloed? If not, you may have to bounce that track to audio in order to hear it in full. You can also play around with part priority (right click the patch name on the left side of VC), but I advise you not to start with this, because pretty soon you'll be setting all parts to high priority which is meaningless ;-).
yes it does happen when soloed.
its not voice stealing its a bug in virus ti itself because i can overcome it by slightly automating Filter cutoff during the key play (turning a little bit by percent up or down) and then it plays full key.
Its a bug in virus ti vst. Describing the solution how to overcome, its with filter.

Hey,
i think i have posted this problem but no one reacted so im posting this again with a sample.
Virus ti snow doesnt play full long key, only 3 bars on FL Studio 10.0.9 and latest Virus TI OS
http://www19.zippyshare.com/v/26509616/file.html
as you can hear it plays properly and after 32 beats it starts to play long key but it just stops
-
as the topic says, i noticed this since i got TI Snow 2 years ago and only today im writing this as it became a serious issue making arragement of my song.
So i was wondering is there some setting or some parameter wich might give this behaviour?
if i want to play lets say 9 bar long it doesnt play, it stops even decay and sutain are full on.
Using FL Studio 10, i tried on reaper, works fine.
EDIT:
it must be a bug in FL Studio or in Virus when working on FL Studio when using multiple outs, because when using on single Virus ti chanel, key is being played full lenght.
-
finaly everything works alright!
but as i understand you misunderstud the request in my topic...
-
FL studio cannot deal with PDC on instruments with multiple outs we've learned from Image Line. in fact, we will revert the changes rolled out in the latest version back to how it was (no "intelligent" PDC). sorry for the hassle.
marcthats good to hear, but is it possible that USB1/2/3 would report latency as plugin itself? because they do not report at all.
-
maybe its not as a problem but more a feature request...
as i noticed using virus in FL Studio, Virus Ti doesnt report fully its latency, only USB1 reports, USB2 and USB3 when are assigned to mixer chanels in FL Studio do not report any latency, and i always have to set it manualy.

Does the 64bit installer include the 32bit VSTplugin versions of Virus TI Snow.dll? I run Cubase 6.04 64bit and 32bit versions on Windows 7 64bit for compatibility and I need both 32bit and 64bit binaries. I'm assuming that I need the 64bit installer for the drivers, so how do I get the 32bit plugin files if they are not installed by the 64bit installer?
Thx.
there is 32bit vst version in installer

About hypersaw, i was too quick for judging on that, its not because of hypersaw, sorry my bad, but in any way there problems, and those problems are very big
-
Here it is is:
http://www.speedyshare.com/fil…27726/Something_wrong.mid
and what about the latency? because there is latency, wich seems isnt reported.
and this is the project im working on, on 4.5 virus is out of sync, just listen by yourself
-
any word from Access Music about this?
-
wow, are the suite is correct?
because it has 3 crucial bugs:
1. When using unison on hypersaw, stereo spread doesnt work.
2. midi signals for keys seems like broken randomly on patches, i press G on one patch and i cant hear, i press A i hear small volume, i press D i hear it in high volume, i open any other patch it works fine, i open another patch it works fine, i open another patch, it behaves bad again.
3. Latency compensation, it reports fault latency.Virus Ti Snow
Win 7 Home Premium64 bit
FL Studio 10.0.8 -
had to roll back to earlier beta version to have everything in sync
-
Its not random, it apeared after beta install, and it feels like always plays earlier than it reports to the host.
Using 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, FL Studio 10.0.5

Ok so what im expierienciing, when i press play using Virus ti audio interface, at first minute Pointer appears few bars from the part i set in the playlist.
NOTE - It only happens when using Virus TI Audio interface ASIO, when i use my other AI Saffire pro 24 or preverious i had m-audio the place is correct in the playlist playback start. So this must be maybe Virus ti bug? after half or a minute it starts to act normal.
