    Hi Folks,

Running Snow Leopard 10.6.3 with Logic 9.1.1. 32Bit and latest virus beta. Something I have noticed for a while now, also with previous betas / releases is that when switching between the direct analog outs for tracking and then switching back to the usb o/p's, eventually the analog outs take on the same latency as the usb o/p's. As I reload the project, the problem is solved so not a major issue, but none the less annoying. I'm not sure how this is possible but please believe me it does happen all the time! I use an RME FF800 as my main I/O so the TIMK1 is set up as 3out-1in. Any thoughts?

    Ta.

That's why I asked you about realtime and offline. You can only bounce the TI using realtime. Bounce in place is offline and you will indeed have a silent region. You need to use the bounce function set to realtime, period. If you want to bounce individual parts of the TI, solo them in Logic and then bounce realtime and check the add to audio bin option so they are in your project. If you find all the TI parts are being soloed upon soloing a single track, go into your preferences, audio, general and set Track Mute/Solo to CPU -Saving(slow response).

I've been doing my best to trip this release up, but so far, I'm getting nowhere. Arps are solid in Logic 9.0.2 under SL 10.6.2. Patch changes are good, tweaking parameters are just as good, automation is good, GUI is GOOD! I've not tried the vocoder yet, this was giving me problems, but I'm off there right now. My display has also not lost the middle line yet either, but this could be down to the air conditioning. We'll see! Anyway, once again many thanks for the continued improvement. When people come in to my studio and see the TI, they always say 'WTF is that!" with excitement. I am now getting that feeling too, just like when I bought it. :)

Had an odd problem last night. The message illegal spdif detected, or something along those lines was being displayed, even though the spdif is not connected. It was stuck on the screen, even after a reboot. The only way I was able to get rid of it was by reinstalling the OS.

I've asked about this before, but I will ask again because it's very annoying. At some point during all these betas (cause it used to work), I have lost the use of the alpha numeric controls on my keypad in Logic 9 when the VC gui is in focus. It would seem that certain plugins adhere to a standard that the TI VC does not. For example, Melodyne editor. It allows me to start the transport in my host using the enter button on my keypad whilst in focus, but the VC plugin does not. I find it annoying for one reason, I'm previewing sounds and like to start and stop from there. If Celemony can do it, then I'm sure Access can.

    Hi all,

Not sure, but I seem to recall the vocoder patches hanging before this beta version but wanted to check if anyone else has the same experience. I was trying to vocode a vocal the other evening, but when selecting the preset vocoder patches you get hanging notes, seems the same on every vocoder patch. The only way to stop them hanging is by pressing the panic buttons on the synth. Perhaps I am not using them correctly? I've used plenty of vocoders in the past mind so it does seem like very odd behaviour. Would be great if anyone could confirm either fault or user error!

    Cheers.

    Mac Pro 3Ghz 8 core, 12GB RAM, SL 10.6.2, Logic 9.0.2, Virus TIMK1Keyboard.

Well, well. 2 arp patches on VC channels 1 and 2 on separate USB outputs and another AU running an arp, locked tight, no glitch when the TI is not selected and not in record mode. By jove, I think you've done it! I may be on my way out to pickup a TI2. Nothing short of fantastic work. Try getting another company to turn fixes around that quickly. Hats off to you folks. :)

However, as the project starts to fill up with more plugins etc, the glitch seems to manifest itself again although not as bad as before.

By clicking the 'Don't show again' box concerning the use of 3 out 1 in and not being able to use the TI as an audio interface box seems to sort the problem. It'll crash once, but when that dialouge box is not shown on next start up, it goes to syncing patches, which is what I'm doing now.

And if I try to load it in Kore 2 standalone:
