  • Looking for new Display for my Virus B

    Hey Guys...



    The display of my Virus B has some dead Pixel rows and now i'm looking for a new one.


    Should be available in Germany. 2 to 16 Char. Displays are cheap.. but the size of 84mm to 43mm makes it difficult for me to find a new one. Standard now is 80mm to 36mm.
    I brought one of them .. but the holes for the screws doesn't fit :(.

  • Rack-Mount for Virus b

    Hey guys..


    At the moment I'm looking for a rack-mountkit for my virus b.


    It seems to be very rar but I realy need one.


    So my question to you guys is:


    Do the virus b fit in a Virus TI2 Desktop rackmount?


    Or maybe do some one of you guys have an rackmount to sell?

  • Power Supply -> Mac in Standby = Dead of Virus PSU!

    Can't really believe it.


    After the problems yesterday with the firmware now I experience some new strange problems.


    I brought my Virus b on Ebay with original PSU ( Netzgerät MW1212GS). Is that really the original?


    Okay but now the really strange problem:


    I pressed the sleep button on my mac pro .... and then I heard "Boom"....


    What happened? Well the Mac was in sleep and I smelled electrical burning...
    It came from under my desk and I was in panic. At the first moment I thought my Mac is burning but no...


    It was the PSU of the Virus. I opened the PSU and there is a burned and exploded diode.


    Now I ask two things:


    1) How the hell is THIS possible?


    2) Where to get a new original PSU?



    Ps Sorry for my poor english. Native language is German.

  • Virus B - No REVERB & No Arp????

    Hey Guys...


    Maybe you can help me here.. I'm new in Sounddesign.


    So while some experiments with my Virus B I expierienced, that I did not hear the Reverb?!
    Effectsend is at 127
    Mode is on Reverb
    Type is Large Room and the
    Decaytime is at 100
    Damping at 90
    Color 0
    Clock off



    Where is the problem?

    Ich hoffe Ihr könnt mir helfen. Ich bin Neuling im Sounddesign.
    Ich habe etwas mit meinem Virus B rumgespielt und feststellen müssen das auf einmal kein Reverb mehr zu hören ist.
    Woran kann das liegen?
