are we talking like campfire crackling? or Rice Krispies crackling?
Or maybe pork, which is a known problem.

that sound pretty good, just add a little sub and maybe a comb filter...boom
Have you updated both your cpu and Virus at the same time? I would take Hans advice and roll back to a tested version.
Also you don't say if you are getting crackling only through usb, try headphones or the Jack op to see if you still have this problem.
Please give some more info into how you are running the Virus i.e. usb/midi
Downloading now, thank you access.
Having just taken the plunge and eventually moved over to win 7 this week I can say that XP is dead to me. My whole system works flawlessly and virus control is stable. I would imagine that most people would exchange support for soon to be obsolete opperating systems for a more stable, bug free and more thoroughly tested VC.
Anybody know how i actually find my ti ? Im sat in a well lit room with a door and i think it may be through there.....haha, only kiddin guys lol.
Hi ,
I have been the proud owner of a TI for nearly a week now and I have to say that I love it...., it makes me so happy, a thing of real beauty.
I have one small problem though, when using it within cubase 5 I can record notes, no problem but when I go to tweak the knobs on the virus....nothing, the transport bar within cubase shows no activity.
I have searched this forum and the only reference I can find is that I need to record automation data??? surley I should see the midi input activity bar in cubase at least recognise that I am moving a dial.
What I would like is to be able to play my virus via my midi keyboard and also record knob twiddles via the TI....tell me this is possible.
My setup is, Cubase 5, Win XP, access TI Desktop
Please help, I dont want to fall out with my Virus....Ever.
