because that works for 99% of our users including ourselves. the variable here is not the virus, it is your computer. can be a "noisy" power supply, can be a grounding problem etc.

Please don't try to put the blame on anything but the Virus. At the moment I have a ferrite core usb cable, the power comes from a socket that is not connected to any other equipment and I'm trying two different computers and the noise is still there. What equipment do you want me to spend my money on next to get this working normally? Also, care to explain where did you get this "99%" number?
