Same issue for me. Maybe the VST doesn't read the .mid files properly?
not yet tested, maybe recreate a patch 1 to 1 without importing the preset/bank

I didn't know this was possible, thanks
I haven't tried a comparison yet
have a look on this: http://infekted.org/virus/show…hp?t=34020&highlight=Snow
you have to activate midi program change
in ableton you can send program change with the midi clip: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en…Change-messages-from-Live
no problem, you can add a folder within your banks or a singe bank.
in the browser under: Data Sources - right mouse click add folders or files.
under apple/mac you find it under:
Libary/Application Support/Access Music/Virus TI/Common
under windows if allready installed you find it under;
C:\Program Files\Access Music\Virus TI\Common
and how do you listen to the sound? Headphones, Speaker? Do you need the solar panels? how long did you plan to run your rig?
it eats cpu for breakfast
here it is: OsTIrus
to avoid any confusion:
use/load the default -Init- patch
1) set Osc1 to Sine and set Osc Balance to Osc1 (if you whant to hear both then set Osc1 + Osc2 to Sine,
set Osc Balance to 0 and set sync 1+2 and Osc2 Detune 0)
2) set Phase init to 1 (Common Parameters)
3) set Punch Intensity to 0
4) set the "Key Mode" to Mono 1 (Common Parameters)
there you have it
Important factors to get a pure sine without click:
- Disable all distortion stages of the Virus, including the Character settings which are often forgotten.
Right, for this purpose, I uploaded a clean, empty patch for a while: Virus TI - Empty Bank
i think i found a good solution:
1) load my --init-- preset (in the attachment)
2) change osc to sine
2) set the "Key Mode" to Mono 1 (Common Parameters)
done
thx for the info.
if needed - here is some reset infromation too:
old but good informations:
best way is to contact the support: https://www.virus.info/contact
hi,
did you tried a hard/factory reset? (ARP-EDIT-Reset)
my aproach:
a multipatch of 2 (and 2 midi channels)
i used only the second osc for both patches to use different semitones and detuning.
Patch 1 - osc2 = -4 semitone and detune 118 - Pan Left
Patch 2 - osc2 = 0 semitone and detune 0 - Pan Right
playing note A2
180 HZ left
220 HZ right
zero crossing must be accurate
