Hello I have my virus playing 3 different patches in Logic. I just don't know how to send them to audio tracks to record them in real time?
When I go to 1st virus track it goes to Stereo Out only other options are sending it to a bus/aux?

I discovered! Patch Utility>Config>Usb Audio:3 Outs / No Input
nevermind thanks
I have the same issue its not showing. Sceenshot.
I just purchased a Focusrite Clarett 8Pre and go from the SPDIF interface. The Virus sounds amazing!
-dj
So can you use SPIDF from Virus to (in my case Apollo Twin) and still use the VC controller for patches and the SPIDF for audio?
Thanks for reply. Some reason I am not getting notifications to my email though I have it set up too.
So if I understand right I can have any number of patches up to 16 going to 1 midi track? I am guessing this is for more control? Bigger sound?
When I change Snow to sequence or multi the functionality in the Controller in my DAW seems the same.
One more thing I hope you can help with. I use Logic Pro X. Bouncing virus patches to audio. Right now:
I have my Virus Snow first 2 patches go through Stereo 1&2 patches 3&4 go to stereo 3&4. So I have to record virus to audio tracks two at time.
"the TI will let you record more parts at a time from separate outputs"
Will this allow me (for instance if recording 4 parts like in Snow) to give them their own outputs to their own audio tracks and record all parts in 1 pass rather then the way I am because of the shared stereo output?
Does that make sense? I'm trying to see if there is a way to speed up the process even if it means getting the TI instead of Snow
Are you saying recording audio out of virus into your sound card delivers a better sound then the USB on playback?
Newbie... so if using a TI desktop using the controller in my DAW. Using sequencer mode I don't have to set up the midi customs areas? But if I save my song and reopen will the same patches still show up?
What is the pro/con using each in your DAW?
Thanks
Is a single patch just one sound. And a Multi presets like 3 single patches in 1? If I am right how to you access the multi patches in Snow using the Controller?
Thanks
So going USB3 to Thunderbolt input is the best solution?

Are these all equally good? I like the idea of the Overdub because I can always use more USB inputs. Did this work with the Virus plugged and others slots used too?
When I do this in Logic. My first L+R usb for the first multi shows as
1+2 Output
2nd
1+2 USB 1
3rd
1+2 USB 2
4th
Grayed out?
I am using Snow with the software plugin as a software instrument. I downloaded some mid patches how do I load them into the plugin?
Thank you
Thank you for the responses.
Does the VST TI work flawlessly? Does it tend to have buffer problems or reading each other?
I have the Virus Powercore and love it but want a new computer. Does it work equally well with MAC Logic and Cubase?
thanks
I use a midi controller KB. So I plug the USB into the computer which records my notes. No need for midi right? Audio out of the SNOW into my PC's soundcard. I don't use a mixer I use a SPL 2Controller Send the virus TI in cubase to the master outputs to monitors right? I don't need a mixer?
