Why must the virus ti usb be unplugged in order to trigger other external synths ?

Yes I have it set up correctly. It seems there is an issue with the virus being in usb mode? Default is usb, and usb mode is usb... I think that is the issue. I haven’t had this problem with virus before, or maybe I didn’t notice. is there an option within the virus to turn off usb? Clearly, this is the issue if midi out works with a daw yet not working in standalone. Seems archaic to have to unplug a cable to use midi...

No I don’t see any midi lights. However when I use logics external synth utility I can trigger all my synths daisy chained by switching midi channels but during standalone, without the daw, nothing happens

I’m trying to play my rack synths with the virus polar but nothing is happening. I have the correct midi channels selected. I have midi outgoing from my virus to the other synths. Is there something I’m missing?

Can the virus ti polar work as a hub for external synths and control other synthesizer via its multiTimbral section with midi out?

Thanks this solved my problem too. I think it has to do with bandwidth

It loads everything in AU, and VST, I see the midi fader go up within the Virus plugin but there is simply no sound. What do I do? I just updated the latest drivers and everything

oh okay. Ill do that. I thought this was their support.

It keeps failing. I uninstalled and reinstall Virus control center. The problem persists. It says to contact Access support. What do I do? I have a Virus TI2 Desktop grey

The transpose buttons that put the virus ti2 polar to sleep aren't working in Logic pro, but they work for TI plugin. Through out the years I've experienced this problem intermittently. I have to restart the virus and then it will start working. Now its not working permanently (transpose). When I look at the midi data in logic. It's not being sent to other instruments like battery or es2, only with the TI plugin.... (midi data, as in the key changes when I hit the transpose button). Plugin headphones into the virus and playing it on its own. The transpose works as well. Please help as this is my only midi controller! thanks

Ever since ive been using Virus. has anyone else notice that the timing of each individual input is not exact. This is not with the software. this is all analog... On TI and TI2... I thought id post to see if anyone has this issue, and if it was done on purpose.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

Can't for my life find it, i have this really cool LFO modulation going on but Cant find the DELAY on LFO 2!!! thnx for your help

perfect worked out!!! thanks
any way to now whipe the entire RAM banks with real INIT... some of my INIT sounds are not INIT... they have slight mods on them

I have a bunch of sounds littered randomly accross my RAM section, How do I pluck all those sounds and put them in a ROM section like ROM Z.... I don't want to put every sound in from my RAM in to ROM Z, just the sounds with KO on the end... They are not in consecutive order. Many thanks!

No, Im not using VC
Im talking simply midi USB in and out.... with just USB, something that you can do on keyboards since the 90s. I want to be able to chose midi channels to corresponding Midi channels on the virus, the problem is I am hearing all midi channels from the virus in one midi channel in my daw. When I use USB, as my midi, it doesnt happen.

When I Use the USB, I can go into mult mode and it seperates all the midi channels... How do I do that with USB In and Out, it layers rather than seperates in logic. Thanks
