I recently contacted Access pleading for any sign or indication regarding AAX support for Pro Tools 11 at some point in the future. I asked to at least let me know if it's a possibility or even on the table for discussion. The response was the following message below, which still leaves us hanging, unfortunately.

AAX support would be amazing. There has never been a better time to be a Pro Tools user. The re-write of PT 11 has made it one of the most efficient DAW's on the market. Several developers have stated to me that while AAX has a learning curve, it's a much cleaner architecture than VST or AU. Not trying to knock anything else, but AAX isn't going anywhere and of course Pro Tools is still widely adopted, so it would be awesome if Access would support AAX.
