why not just bounce down to Audio?
just bounce each channel separate, so you would have to solo each channel in the virus controller.
sounds like a saw wave with a slow phaser on it,
Hi,
Go to access home page and go to support, downloads, click virus Ti series left box - right box scroll down to software installer beta versions, you will see one for mac yosemtie 10.10
Virus TI Installer 5.1.1.0 for Mac OSX
the virus Volume is very low, can you not crank up your audio interface.
I have a perfect working setup on my Windows machine, runs great,
but my MAC well lets just say it runs but not as smooth. i have to load up logic first before i switch on the virus or the virus is unplayable. yes it's on it's own hub etc,
But i can create patches play the virus with one instance no problem so i just bounce down in logic, this way i still can use my virus.
Studio one i use the freeze function this is a great tool, as you can delete the virus, so you can load up another instance of the virus.
tehnobear what hub did you buy in the end, as i need to get one, having problems with the sound of the virus going out of tune. it's only doing it on my mac though
before you do upgrade do a backup of your machine, or try upgrade on a different hdd and see if you get any problems.
I'm running yosemite and logic X without any issues, but i know some people still get issue's with this.
but make sure all your other plugins work, my Steinberg rnd Protico still don't work as steinberg still needs to update them. so check before you make the leap.
are you using a laptop or desktop
ok what DAW are you using
is it on it's own USB hub
What version of the ti software are you using
did it not just turn 10 years old last year?
in studio one you have to put the virus in a bus channel that way you can route the audio through it. try that
i know this is a daft question but have you tried reinstalling the software?
a few things to try
unplug usb cable until Yosemite is loaded then plug it in and try that.
download a demo of studio one or ableton and see if that works ok with it.
try a different usb hub it might be a problem with that hub.
hi Maarten,
so you're on the same system as me, i use a saffire 56 for my audio card thought.
What version of the Ti software are you using as i had to use the beta 5.1.1 version to get it to all talk nicely to each other.
Are you using the virus as a audio card?
What DAW are you using?
Hi All,
I created this tutorial on how to do acid sounds, you can watch it here..
hope you like..

had you tried doing a factory reset..
With the Virus TI unplugged, hold down the "Arp Edit" button, located under the "Master Volume" knob, and plugin the Virus TI. You will see two LEDs (BPM and Logo LED) start flashing back and fourth - this indicates it is ok to now let go of the "Arp Edit" button and let the TI boot. All factory parameters * will return to their original settings.
Alternately, if your TI is off via the "Sleep" fuction (both transpose buttons) - simply hold down the "Arp Edit" button, located under the "Master Volume" knob and the TI will reset.
are you still using the scarlet as your soundcard.
have you tried another DAW?
have you tried just the virus only in your usb and nothing else.
what ver? of firmware are you using on your virus
first of all what platform are you using Windows/Mac - What DAW and how are you plugging it in with a usb hub etc..
sounds like a square lead with pitch modulation applied to it.
