You are welcome, have a nice day!
-
I don't know, I only use Cubase, check on Access site, there's a list of supported hosts
-
It's important for those switching the Virus between both the Win & Mac platforms.
It has finally realligned the firmware/software version between them, so that if you go from Mac to Pc and backward, you don't have to upgrade-downgrade your Virus firmware anymore -
That can be accessed from any software hosting AU or VST instruments (Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live etc...)

Really nice track!

I had a mobo failure after a power loss in my building.
I sent it from Italy to Germany and they repaired it.
From the day it broke to the day I received it in my house and working, only a month passed.
Open a ticket with the repair service, it's worth it and they work good.
Do it. -
The update that brings back multiplatform ability is out! Thanks Access !!!!

Maybe I must have been missing some recent message...anyway thanks for letting us know.
It's good to hear this! -
Use a custom arp at 1/16, activate only the first 3 steps, use a saw and a sine (maybe) really detuned, apply lowpass filter (maybe analog filter) and some portamento. Apply a light LFO to both osc tune also... play a bit with filter envelopes...and maybe you can get a little closer...I have to try it as I have a minute. It also seems to apply hight resonance and filter envelope tweaking when swirling.

Many customers ask for this since the beginning of this absurd situation and Access stays silent about the situation.
Right now it cannot run on Win "AND" Mac, it runs on Win "OR" Mac (once it wasn't like this).
This is in my opinion a bad product support for a synth that is still produced and in sales. -
Good groovy track!!

Hi! Write to Access support by email describing what appened and the situation. They will open a service ticket and probably, if it's really a mobo or physical damage, they will redirect you to their official repair service in Germany. They changed my Virus' mobo once and they did a good and quite fast job.

I checked now, my Plugin Manager inside Cubase says I've 1 instance of the Virus TI Plugin, VST 3.5.0 version (I'm in Cubase 9 64bit on Win10 64 here).
-
Could be, yes! Tomorrow I'm gonna check if I'm using the vst2 or 3.
-
Ok, yes, we are talking about the same feature
I remember, when doing my template, that I tried loading the Virus several times just to obtain this congruent and useful behaviour...but I can't exactly remember what I did, you know, a template is there to be loaded and forget the pain to setup stuff everytime
Well, I see now you're on OSX...Maybe that changed only now in Cubase for Mac... I forgot to mention I'm on Win... -
You mean that if you select a Midi Part pointing to Virus Midi channell 2, on both the plugin and the Virus you'll be working on Part 2? It has always been like that (at least for me).
I suspect this depends on how you setup the Virus plugin...well...if I'm not wrong I remember struggling with this when I did my own "new song" template project in Cubase. I did it once (long time ago) to start every new song with the Virus and Maschine complex midi/audio routing preloaded, so exactly now I don't remember what I did to obtain this behaviour from the TI, but I suspect it has to do with loading the plugin from the instruments rack as multitimbral instrument rather than normally firing up a new instrument track inside Cubase.
Try doing that. -
Niceeee track!!!

I suppose this is the repair center they adressed you to: http://www.synthesizerservice.de/
Scroll down the pages, and there's English translation.
If you contact them by e-mail, they also communicate in English -
The basics are an hipass filter on a saw wave, with reverb & delay.
Than from there you can modulate some panning and play with other parameters at will, as unison, detuning, modulating filter from velocity, everything you want to make it fit better in the context of your track.
