[Blockierte Grafik: http://www.flickr.com/photos/5…/in/photostream/lightbox/] It would be very helpful if we could send multi program change messages to VC like Sonic Charge Microtonic
Here's what i mean

On-time always here Marc with the analog outs
I'm just pressing that "Live" button on VC and set my buffer size to 256
Cheers!
I wouldn't use the USB's if i where you...Try the old school analog outs..They sound much more warmer
All good here guys...:)
Thanx
It has to be a bug of the installer because since two years I successful update my VirusTI on the same USB port!
Definitely a bug cause i've tried all the USB ports on my PC with no results...:(
I've never experienced such a problem since 4 year i've owned the TI
Guess back to 3.3.0:(
Same prob here..:(
Tried all USB ports on my PC with no luck...WTF!
Rolling back to 3.3.0

I've manage to update the OS through my Powerbook let's see if it works now
on my PC
Someone mentioned a Modular Mode for TI...I totally agree on this...Would make the TI an open source hardware monster!!!
Maybe a partnership with Cycling '74???
Imagine building your own stuff and applying it to the Virus through a dedicated stand alone plug as many mentioned...Massive!!!
Also would be excellent to have a new re-programmed version of Atomiser to behave as Native Instruments "The Finger"...Every key a different effect+chaining
Last but not least a Step Sequencer and some new types of wicked FX...
Access hear this!!!
You talk as if Access has told you personally what the differences between analogue out and USB out are, but they haven't, ever.
If they have given you such information point us to it as a lot of people want a solid answer.
Well, i only know these 2 facts:
1) Go here and check TI's specs http://www.access-music.de/pag…nical_specifications.html
it says: 192 Khz/24bit D/A converters for the analogue outs
2)When you use TI as audio interface you can get to a max sampling rate of 48Khz and i guess you understand the difference here...
If you're asking me about TI's internal processing i'm not the qualified guy to do this
Ask Marc instead
Cheers!
Time for some harder measures then...1st do a clean unistall/install of VirusTI's latest OS.If you still get the same results time to formatting your Windows and install everything to their latest drivers..
Ok let's try something else then..
Do you play your arp as a 1bar loop for example that keeps repeating?
If yes, try setting let's say a 64bar loop and see if you're still getting those sync problems
and let me know
Trust me, there's nothing wrong with my ears.
I go to the Doctor regularly to get them checked as people pay me to use them.
Noone from Access has ever said theres a difference in bit depth between USB and Analog, Correct me if I'm wrong.
I have VERY high end soundcards, industry standard monitors and plenty of experience, I don't hear it.
My opinion is your DAW would make more difference than a cable, using Ableton or similar will add artifacts for sure.
Here we go again with Ableton and it's summing engine...I didn't want to start this all over again but here is your answer:
http://tinyurl.com/d8xpy5
Anyway since this is not an Ableton forum let's keep it on topic.Everyone has his own opinion on this matters so
do what's best for you."Judgement comes inside the fields" as they say in football...
PM me to send you a sample so you can hear for yourself
Absolutely wrong, there is no question that a person with even rave blown ears like myself can hear a difference between the usb and analog outputs in certain situations. Its even more pronounced once you start pitching the oscillators down really low. You can actually hear the envelopes closing as digital noise, this happens much sooner via usb. Even on simple chord patches you can hear much much more high end, things sound more 'airy' I was very skeptical myself until I A/B'd a bunch of patches.
Luke
Thank you sir!
put your latency parameters to 256 samples (6ms) and try again ...
Definitely that one too...
Try doin a reset and check your USB cable...
Also use the latest OS
Never mind found it...
I cannot spot easily the difference between usb and analog
You need a combination of good monitors & convertors to listen to the difference...And trust me is huge!
Convinience is the No1 factor for me, especially if you have to sacrifise so little in sound quality.
I'm on the opposite...
USB -} 24bit - 48KHz
S/PDIF -} 24bit - 48KHz
Analog -} 24bit - 192KHz

Guess which one i'm using...
Cheers!
Alrighty,
Is there a way i could make key split work while having VC open?
AFAIK, if you use Atomizer with side chain input then you c an not use the Virus as synth right?
That is not correct my friend...
Already done it!
Check your audio interface settings..
