Okay, i don't know if i'm happy or not with the fact that i 'm not the only one :O
i am using windows 7, cubase 10.5, and the os is 5.7.1.00. But i had this issue on cubase 9.5 also.
Maybe a little side info, if i press the live button on the vst, the notes are played correctly again, but most of the time the timing is a little off then..but you have the live button on all the time, do you (i didn't watch the vid)? also, do you use the VST2 or VST3 version of virus control?

Marc/Anyone - when will we have a compatibility confirmation?
yes
-
Mark? Can you advise please Sir? Thanks man.
for now, it works...

I have a Dootoper Typ C Hub here which works fine.

i've never heart about this issue before. it surprises me a little because what you do is nothing really special. what I know through is that Virus Control doesn't really differentiate in between different types of controllers, in other words, something like this should happen to every parameter in the same fashion. it would be interesting to learn if what you've found also happens with earlier versions of cubase.
in any case, i'd like to recommend to you to use VST3 instead.

"my patches" is a single MIDI file. if you cannot see all the patches in there, the file eventually got corrupted? please contact support by email.

please contact support through the support form on the Access website.

Why knot?
because the little minions who live inside the machine wouldn't like it. they're old fashion.

I spoke with a service engineer locally who thinks he can fix this. He asked if there is a service manual or pcb diagrams/schematics available.
service manuals are not available. anybody who claims that he can fix something should at least check that before he makes a statement.

firstly, around 500 or less, which was too much so Virus didnt load (or maybe I should have waited over 15 minutes to see the outcome?). Then I loaded about 80 banks, it loads, but it takes about 3 minutes (approximately equally long as it took on old OSX for all patches)
if you want a faster loading time, you need to install less banks. even 80 banks is a lot. there is currently no workaround for that. it is macOS which has changed, not Virus Control. We'll look into this but it will take time.
let me just add some personal advise: i like to collects sounds myself. this summer, for a project, i needed a specific collection of sounds so I sat down and spend about a day making some sort of best off collection for that project. It felt so much better to work with a small collection of sounds after that. so when winter comes, i'll go through all my sounds because frankly: i have no clue where the good ones are and that can be a real buzz killer ...

And, when you say that reducing banks 'generally made virus control happier.', what do you mean by that? When I realized that number of banks affect the time of loading, I thought that it might also affect overall Virus vst performance, because Im occasional experiencing dropouts and clicks...
how many banks do you have installed?
