  • External Instrument in Ableton for flexible multiple outs

    I recently sent this to Access and was wondering if anyone else could shed some light on this issue I have.

    It shows how you can use Kontact in Ableton on multiple channels using the "External Instrument" plugin which enables you to add audio fx to each output channel on Kontact.
    When I try to do this with my Virus the "Audio From" box does not recognize each of the Virus's 16 outputs thus making this method useless.
    Have I got something wrong?
    If not could Access look into making this work as NI Kontact have.
    It would make the Virus very flexible and very useful for all.

  • [Solved[ New Video tutorials - LFO error

    Hey Access,


    Firstly - great to see the overhaul of the website, a new forum, and the new 3.0.5. Brilliant!


    I really like the new video tutorials as they teach me more about the Virus and how to mould the sounds I want out of it. Unfortunately the LFO video has the wrong audio with it. Could you get this fixed - I'm sure many of us will find this very interesting.


    Also would it be possible to gain some control over these tutorials? eg. If I am practicing or trying to emulate something learnt from the tutorial, having to watch the whole video from start to finish with only a pause button can be tedious. Being able to download these with the ability to play them back in Quicktime or Windows Media Player would be brilliant. Also having the patches that Ben uses, to play along with would highten the learning curve and bring it over the edge :thumbup:


    Otherwise - Keep bringing it on Access.
