Hi, I am Holly! TWO IMPORTANT HELPS NEEDED. Thank you!!!! Help One: We are trying to load sounds onto our Virus Classic using the Aura Access Virus Editor, which we own. And when we load " Virus Factory Bank A. Mid" onto the Virus, something like 15 or 20 sounds spread throughout the bank list load as sounds that are not listed on this bank. The rest are correct. It is overwriting the previous Bank A, but yeah, the list of sounds has some outliers and yet we need a couple of those ones listed on the list in the librarian. It is mystifying. OK. Help Two: We lost a ton of sounds for our band during a mistake that is taking months to repair as we learn how to do all this, but we are getting closer in part thanks to this forum. We are missing 7 sounds still. We can't IMPORT the banks sent to us by Access Virus into the librarian for some reason. We click everything and the program sits there. No error message, no attempt. It just does not import them. They mailed us some and we loaded the first on on the machine, overwriting everything because we had done that by mistake with our old sounds and were looking for anything that matched our extensive setlist.... and it worked. That was plain sysex messaging using midi OX. Then we got the librarian, but...it will not import those same files. Now that we almost have all our sounds back in the Virus we do not want to write the banks there and then into the librarian.... Is it because the files Access sent contain several banks per file for rewriting everything? Does it need to have just ONE bank per midi file to work? Wondering how to word my request to Access, or if we can do something to get those in the librarian. THANK YOU. Happy sounds to you all!

its a desk top virus

they were all factory sounds we never made any sounds in it wouldn't still be there

We have a classic. Today we turned it on the same way we have for 19 years and it did not show the same factory sounds that it always has. It had no sound being made and strange codes. We tried a restart but nothing. we turned it off for a while then on again. It asked if we wanted to restore the banks to factory we said yes. Now all the sounds are completely different and we don't see the original sounds and we have all our songs written to them. How can we fix this. Please we are desperate for help.
