My TI1 does this too. It is rare and usually not an issue. It is just backing up.

When I use my TI Keyboard with a hardware sequencer, I create a Multi Mode 'patch' and then record my tweaks into my hardware. I guess I don't know how I can help you without more info.

Since the pitch wheel changes the repeat time, is not possible to route a LFO to control the pitch for the same effect?
-
Indeed! Also if you are making trancey plucks, consider using reverb with a clocked predelay that has about +16 coloration, it will give it some nice atmosphere!

But there is a severe problem with the MPKs i just discovered in the store when demoing it again... the drum pads cannot hit 127 hard velocity no matter how hard you hit it... I tried to adjust the velocity curves for the drum pads, and even when i slammed the drum pads as hard as i could, almost breaking my finger... I still could not get high velocities... are they all so bad with the drum pads? they have no sensitivity to hard hits. this was terrible... i did not realize this, i just assumed they were the best ones out there in my previous post because they look ppretty serious... but when i tried the drum pads I wanted to hang myself.
I therefore settled for a 40 dollar akai LPD8 which has much better pads than the much more expensive MPKs. What the hell is that? And they even light up LOL!!
You are right. Akai wanted to try to recreate the MPC pads in the MPK line...which means that full velocity is hard to do unless you push the full velocity key, which will make them full 127. I never dug the MPK for its pads, but rather its very smooth keys and encoders. It has an arp and you can actually use it without USB to control your virus with its actual MIDI out! It is sad, but some newer MIDI Controllers are are being released without MIDI outs and only USB (new M-Audio Oxygen 3 series). As the mainstream gets more dependent on software and less on hardware synths, the lowest price point for "Hardware Synth Users'" MIDI Controllers will go up because (ironically) someday MIDI out may be more of a luxury on MIDI Controllers!
Just my 2 cents on the matter anyways.

I own the Yamaha FC-7 and it is awesome! I have mine set to filter cutoff 1 and use it to play with two hands. You can set your modulation pedal to tweek whatever you want.

I think the Akai MPK series keybed is the most Virus feeling controller.

I use Live 8, too. Sometimes I just have to restart Live and that fixes it.

Awesome. Post a link when your track is done!

Now tweak your Modulation wheel up and down.

You can use the iPad like a APC40 / Lemur. So you could also use the iPad to tweak Virus Control.

Wireless APC40! Finally a reason for me to buy equipment without USB!

On the Virus, press [STORE], select "->Multibuffer", press [STORE]. When you exit Virus Control, go to Multi Mode and press [STORE] again to store it to some multi location.-timo
To save SINGLE patches from an embedded multi, press [STORE] in Multi Mode, select the destination "Store Single Menu", hit Store and save the patch somewhere in the Virus. VC will sync it up next time.
You can also dump the arrangement to your sequencer, store it as a MIDI file (Format 0), place it in the patches folder and access the patches via VC.Though Multi mode and Sequencer mode do have 16 parts and a range of similar parameters, they do work a bit different and are not compatible in both directions (which is one of the reasons their editing is not supported in Virus Control).

That is very useful. I wondering how to do that.

Also use BALANCED CABLES!!! When I changed all my cables I had a HUGE improvement in how clean my TI sounds.
-
One cool workaround is to make a user arp that is more then 1 octive and then use a S&H LFO that is clocked 1/1 or larger and then set it to modulate Portamento. This will create some cool "gliding" acid arps!

I think it would also be nice to see frequency values on the filter readout as opposed to 0 - 127.
+1[/quote]
As long as it is optional. I'd like to see the Delay and Reverb send level also be optional.
-
AtonyB, I noticed the same thing on my TI Keyboard for Filter Cutoff 1. It is lagging. But when I set my modulation foot controller to cutoff 1, there is no lag. Weird, huh?
-
That is awesome. I kinda do this already in Live by triggering a clip, but it would be sweet to reset on the hardware.
-
The Master Volume only controls the real outputs, not the USB outs.

With the ability to burn flash rom now...just drop it into your "my patches" soundset and then burn it to flash rom.
