First try using TI USB Audio - Problem with midi part volumes

  • I've had the TI desktop since it was first released and have always used the analog audio outputs. Recently, I upgraded to Cubase 5 Essentials and have purchased a very nice effects plug-in suite that I would like to use with the TI and a few soft synths. The problem I have is with volume levels on the Virus TI's USB1 audio output. If I have a sound playing on midi part 1, and then start a new sound on midi part 2, the volume level of the midi part 1 reduces. There are no effects or audio processing plug-ins active that should cause this to happen. If I switch over to the analog output on the TI it does not happen.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure it is a silly mistake I am making.

    Thanks,

  • I had this problem in Logic. You need to choose Part Volume for the respective Part. There should be a long parameter list and it's under P for Part I think. Remember to choose the right Part Volume for the Part you want. It's easy to forget which part you're looking at.
