The similar problem another hardware has not just virus. These are PowerCore, Sonic-Core Scope cards etc. They need to be re-started as well after sleep mode.
I believe I've developed a problem with my TI being sleep for to long.
Now my Multi mode is acting very similar to yours.

I have recently bought a second hand Virus Ti Keyboard from ebay and when starting up after being put into sleep mode, the welcome screen is slightly glitchy and i get no sound just crackles when I hit the keys.
I have re installed the latest software and it still does this.
If I pull the plug and restart, it is fine.
Any suggestions or experience of this from any other Virus TI owners would be great.

are you talking about putting the virus to sleep or your computer? does this happen when you use your virus in stand alone mode (with no USB cable attached)?
