New Virus TI Snow, possibly broken?

Hello Everyone,

A week ago I bought a brand new Virus TI Snow and I have it hooked up via USB. The problem was almost immediately present.

Whenever I load the virus control plugin and start playing with it, the sound or virus freezes / or doesn't give any sound at all. I have to completely restart the unit again for it to stop making the buzzing sounds. I tried it in FL Studio 11 and in Ableton but both the same issues.

I am using a Focusrite Scarlett as my main audio interface with the ASIO drivers.

I appreciate any given advise and would like to try it out before I replace it.

I tried different audio drivers / settings but it still freezes.
