Hi all,
Sorry if this is a newbie question, but...
I've got a new Windows 10 PC upon which I installed the 32-bit version of Ableton Live 9. (I specifically chose Ableton 32 bit because I want compatibility with some legacy 32-bit VST plugins without having to go through JBridge, and the Ableton documentation says Live 64 bit will only work with 64-bit VSTs.)
So I figured I'd install the 32-bit version of the TI 5.1.1.0 Beta Installer. But when I went to install, a window popped up and said that I should get the 64-bit version, because the software was not compatible with a 64-bit operating system.
I'm concerned that if I install the 64-bit Virus software, the VirusControl VST will be 64-bit and thus will not be compatible with my 32-bit version of Live. Should I ignore the warning popup and proceed to install the 32-bit version of the TI software? Or should I get the 64-bit equivalent and install that instead?
Thanks,
T.
