I'm planning to buy the new mac pro for use with my virus ti 1 polar but reading this concerns me.

I've had my Virus TI for several years now and have always had a few sync problems.

I've just made the transition from Cubase on a PC to Logic on a Mac and installed the latest OS 4 (v4.5.0.1) and now it's worse than ever.

I've followed the Logic setup instructions in the Virus TI Setup Guide but it's not made much of a difference - it goes out of time so often it's almost unusable.

How can I fix this?

I've got an iMac i7 with 4 GB ram, only other USB device plugged in is the keyboard. Latest version of Mac OS X, latest version of Logic.
