does the virus driver work in yosemite beta?

on 10.9.3 the virus runs "stable" here. hope access hurry up for yosemite (driver) support because this os will be better performe then mavericks (also for audio).

Hey, i wish in the FX section, the fx's could be inserted AFTER a multiband(eq?), same for the saturation, so that for basses for example the bottom stays "clean" and only the mids/hi frequencies get the fx. currently im using 2 workarounds, 1) is sending the virus via the 3 usb-outs, put the same patch in each of these channels (which is probably not in phase then?!) and split the frequencies via eq or 2) sending the signal of 1 patch from the virus into 2-3 different sends with no output on the virus channel and eq it on these busses. gues the workflow would be alot faster and probably better sounding if access care about this instead of the users messing around with eq's and busses etc. and i could use more the good sounding fx's of the virus instead of extra fx plugins, which safes also cpu%.

and please..fix all sync, clicking and usb issues!

Hi, we defenitly need a lowcut (why hicut???) for the fx section so the lowend of the sound stays clean while the top end can be distorted/phased/chorused etc. please,thanks!

Im wondering is it possible to "morph" from a square wave to saw somehow? i dont mean volume morph or osc balance, i mean like in wavetable synthesis morphing in different waves can be done in 1 OSC (correct me if im wrong). in massive it can be done very quickly and i want to do this in the virus so much.

hey, anyone know how to create sci-fi or "dark/deep" sounds + athmospheres? i know its about layering (low cuttet pads and reverbed stuff together) but i want to know how to get the best and fastet results with the virus, because this beast can sound VERY creepy and also dreamy.

i would also get to know how to build a synth snare in the virus (i want to use it for the "low-layer" of my snare/s) for pitching it to "the key of the tune"

3-4 db of gain reduction? sounds like a squashed tune for me...i always try to reduce maximum 2 db, 3 db not very often

(personally i dont use fx from virus before my filter because my filter is dual-mono.. so i wouldnt use stereospreader, pad opener etc. but i add proper flange/chorus fx etc for stereo widening when i resample)

the new filters are great, but im missing an automate function for the filter blend type (on the xpole filters).

why put the emu back into the virus and not into the daw? i run my virus directly into my ebbe&flut filter then into the daw where i process it with saturation reverb chorus etc. then resample. i dont know the emu filters (zplane but maybe its to much convertion OR you got bad eq settings in the virus..?!
havnt tried the new filters also, but i will do now. i use the 3 filter envelopes for modulating the sound only, lp filter is open and filter balance str8 left

virus owns massive 1000 times , IMO!

im also trying to create fat reece basses, i got an external filter and add fx like saturation / distortion, reverb etc after the filter ofc. so i use the virus only for creating moving saws and use more high-end plugins on the insert.

one really good plugin for multiband saturation/distortion is Fabfilter Saturn, you can even automate the crossover frequency of the bands
