I would like that as well.

I ofthen find myself browsing through tons of patches. Controlling soft knobs from MIDI controller would be really great, since Virus is out of my hands reach. What Marc suggests is to tweak every single patch matrix, how is that a solution? Matrix is patch specific and not global.

I have almost managed to use Virus TI in VirtualBox 4 (in version 3 I was less successful). Everything works, Virus Control is able to communicate with Virus, MIDI works as well. There is one downside
no audio comes out of virus, even when virus isn't used as audio interface I can hear nothing from headphone output, meaning it's not like it fails to transfer audio over USB but something else. Comparing to VirtualBox 3 it's a big achievement, hopefully in next versions USB 2.0 devices support will be improved even further.
Nevertheless, I would definitely love to use it with Wine.

Access could include it into the next 4.0.00.1 update, why wait another decade for OS5.

I just have added a poll. Please vote! I'm very looking forward to see it in the OS4 update.

Uploaded the video, showing the problem,

Access, please consider fixing it! -
Same here, firmware wasn't updated, more on that Virus Control Center doesn't see the Virus connected. Reverted back to 3.3.0.0 beta, but VST dll's left from 3.3.4.0 and thus Virus Control doesn't peak up older 3.3.0.0 firmware on the Virus. When Access Music will tech installer to do its job properly, so users don't have to clean up the system by themselves. Sigh!

Every time I reload the project I have to select outputs again.

Because they are always reset to USB1 L+R for all parts. Doesn't happen in FL Studio though. -

I am also finishing remixes on two anjunabeats releases, originals are very old and I'm very concerned how to release them
Keep updating us!

+1, need that too.

Open the Piano Roll editor for the MIDI item and make sure you don't have any CC (controller change) events in there.
As Timo said, volume is CC #7.Yep, here was the reason:

Thanks for reply, Timo. I toggled all MIDI settings I could find, no change.
May any other Reaper user here say something on this issue?
-
Apparently there is no "reset VC to specific value on stop" in Reaper
-
During playback part volume is always fixed to 100, after playback is stopped volume jumps to 127.

Monomeester, I just have to keep it

-VC: Reaper (unsupported host) was crashing when VC was instantiated (fixed)
Hurray, it's a step forward! So happy.

Tried in Reaper and FL Studio, hopeless. What host works for you?
