Thanks flabberbob, that is very helpful. I'm excited to try and build a good sound from that info!

Hey all,
I have a TI snow and have played around with modifying some of the preset organ sounds but haven't had much luck emulating something like in this video (comes in around 3:08):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErBOKaAAEOQ
I would purchase something like that if it was available, otherwise any ideas? The best organ I've gotten is here http://dharmonicdeluxe.bandcamp.com/track/golden-arrow-2 but sadly it only works for a poppy synthy organ sound layered in the mix, not for a basic organ sound. (I know it's not ideal to use a synth for an organ/keys sound, but I don't want to add too much to my setup and it's hard to find a good lightweight organ + rhodes + piano module/keyboard.)
Thanks!
/Courtney

I have been reading the manuals/watching tutorials for Virus Control (in ableton) with my TI Snow and it seems that as a mac user, My Patches folder should be located under /LibraryApplication Support/Access Music/Virus TI/Patches ....but there is no Access Music folder under Application Support. Does anybody have an idea on how to find out where my patches are being saved when I save to "My Patches.mid" ?? I typed in the file/folder names in finder, with no luck.
Thank you!

and thank you heckmat...just to be safe I used sysex librarian with the multi-dump before I updated and that worked great as well.

Thank you Marc! I went ahead and updated, and there was only one part that changed on a single multi setting. I found this odd since it was in the RAM bank.
It's so easy to back up with Virus Control Center!

I realize now how stupid this was, but I recently purchased a virus ti snow and spent about 20 hours writing patches on the actual unit (not with software) because of an upcoming gig and a serial number issue. Now I have worked out the issue and am going to install Virus Control which I've read automatically prompts for a firmware update. Should I opt to not update the firmware and back up my multi-patches first? I really can't afford for them to be erased, but I also cannot afford to blow the house speakers this weekend if my virus makes the loud squealing sound it has been making with the old software. Thank you!!
