It seems by putting the pitch wheel all the way to the end position and release it so it snaps back fast it stopps in a position that is not sending midi constantly

I can recommend the the Midi Monitor Tool, very handy.
It is the pitch wheel going bananas... can't make it stop by moving it... restarting the virus solves the problem for a while but it comes back. -
Not familiar with Logic, in FL there is a midi debug option where you get to see all the incoming messages as they occur. A twist of a knob from value 0 to 10 would generate like 20 lines on the report. Maybe logic has a similar functionality which will enable you to trace the source of the signal?
thansk for the advice
I don't find any midi log with logic, but I found this tool and maybe I can find out something with that.

How long USB cable is recommended for the Virus TI?
Mine is pretty long and I don't remember if it is the original or not.... -
I'm not even using arpeggiator...
Today it helped to wait 3 sec.
Is this a known behavior and is there a cure? -
Stop and wait for 3 sec does not help...
I have the newest version installed. (5.0.8.00).OS X version is Yosemite, but I had also this problem with mavericks and leopard.

I will try that next time!
To get it back in sync i usually double click on different places in the logic time line to start playing from there, and after a few attemts the virus is back in sync... -
I use Logic pro X and start play and stop a lot with the space button when I compose....
A lot of times the Virus TI looses sync when I do that...
but when I use the mouse and start stop with the buttons in Logic pro X GUI the virus does not loose sync.Has anyone else experience this and is there a cure for this behaiviour?

My question was exactly the same as this question here:
http://virus.info/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2000I think the solution in that thread will work for me as well.
Best regards
