When using FM (Wave), is it possible to use a spectral waveform (Classic mode, Wave 4) for OSC 2 and a wavetable for OSC 1?
Doing this doesn't sound like the Wavetable from OSC 1 is being used. It sounds like OSC 1 is using Classic mode. There is a blip around the Wavetable Index at 64 similar to the Classic mode's switch to Saw.
Can someone else verify?

I'm using a TI Polar with 5.04.02 and I finally tracked down where I'm getting artifacts from. The phaser and phaser feedback. Listen to this is headphones.
You can hear clicks and pops after the note ends and quantization noise.

I'm trying to get the unison pan spread to adjust the parallel filters but it's disabled. I have unison off. According to the manual it should be active but it only seems to work when the filters are in split mode.
Page 68:
"Pan Spread: The stereo width of the signal. As well as applying to Unison sounds, this parameter also applies to any Parallel and Split mode sounds so it is still visible even if Voices (see above) is set to Off."

Here's a workflow I've come up with for using an Access Virus TI Snow in Ableton Live. This uses Clip Automation as opposed to Track Automation so that you can use more than 4 parts from the Snow. This technique could also be used in Logic Studio using Channel Settings.

I would love to see a native plugin for the Virus. I'd still use both it and the hardware, but having the option to work without the hardware would be really nice.

Yes, midi CC with the TI mod matrix.

I've been a longtime (frustrated) TI user and I think I've discovered a workflow that bypasses a lot of the crashes, dropouts, weird behavior with the TI. I'm currently using a Snow in Ableton in Lion OSX. I previously owned a Desktop TI2 but became so agitated with the common issues everyone is going through. I decided to downgrade so that I wouldn't feel like I was wasting quite as much money but still could playback previous tracks I've written with the TI. I used to sequence using a lot of automation and would crash constantly - either live or the TI itself. Or I'd have timing issues with the arp.
That said, I recently discovered that Ableton clip automation coupled with the TI matrix is solid. I haven't had any issues in days. It takes a little more prep, but it's worth the effort as opposed to the issues I had with automation.
Can anyone else verify that this works for them?
