I’d like to have motorized pots on the next Virus. That way there’s no need for the snap / jump workaround anymore.

the question by the OP is totally legit.
I remember that older VAs used to read modulation changes at different speeds. for example the micro q reads fm mod at 48khz and has its mod matrix divided in fast mod (which is slower than fm mod) and regular mod (which is even slower). they did that in order to prioritize processing power, because faster mod changes use up a lot more processing power.
maybe this has something to do with why certain mods can be used directly and others have to be routed thru ‘proxies’ (think of them as slow modulation proxies).

+1 for a comprehensive manual, that list at least every named parameter and shortly describes what it does.
I mean… how long did it take you to figure out what they called aftertouch in the mod matrix, when you wanted to use it for the first time?

+1 for individual osc volume control

+1 for a good technical compressor that can do subtle opto style compressing as well as mosfet brick wall limiting.

Also, did anyone experienced this on keyboardless version of Virus (snow, TI desktop)?
as already mentioned earlier, I am running a TI2 desktop and have not encountered that problem yet. so, if this is a firmware issue, it‘s probably related to the internal keyboard interface.

afaik access wants you to contact support directly for bug reporting.

the virus keyboard uses the fatar tp8s keybeds, right? and they are said to be one hell of a keybed. can't imagine that they are prone to these classic synth era problems. owned a sy77 with a yamaha fs keybed for 20+ years, and even with the keybed finally degrading with sticky keys and all, there was never an issue with self triggering.

if we are talking missing note off messages, I can confirm this happens every now and then (and mostly with vc running). but not more frequently than say with a Waldorf micro q. I have never experienced freak midi events happening without any interaction at all. not even after the virus ti2 is already powered on for more than 12 hours.
my ti2 is a desktop, so I am using an external midi controller. maybe it's an issue with keyboard/polar versions only?

I am not sure if this applies to the virus or this specific problem, but setting resonance to high values can cause the filter to self oscillate.

is it possible that i can modulate PWM, DETUNE, INTERPOL of osc 1 Wave Pwm and osc 2 Wave Pwm,
with an envelope, lfo or matrix?both. you can modulate osc pw with lfo1 pw, lfo 1 assign, lfo2 assign, lfo 3 assign and the mod matrix. osc detune and osc interpolation can be modulated with lfo 1 assign, lfo 2 assign, and the mod matrix.

can you tell us what browser (name, version) you are using and whether you have any third-party plugins in that browser? also what kind of internet connection are you using? have you tried using a different browser or a download manager?

using osx 10.7.5
btw… I am not experiencing any of the mentioned performance issues in logic
