Fantastic. Thanks again!

Updated the list with bobborries findings.
Also, I started an Excel list with all these entries. See attachment.
Is there an attachment I'm missing?
You guys are the main reason I visit here thank you for this
Look on the Common tab I believe in VC and make sure it’s set to 3 outs.
I personally wouldn’t simply because I’d prefer to have 61 keys.
I just made the transition to Live from Logic X. Right off the bat, the TI seems to like Ableton better. Zero clicks/pops. Where as in Logic, that was the only flaw in my setup. Very intermittent but enough to irk me when they happened. This isn't why I switched DAWS, though. Live is more fun to work with in my opinion. And creating music should be fun if you're not doing it professionally, right? I have yet to setup multi output though. Are you guys using external instrument for this? Any tips or things to look out for?
Thanks
Via the mod matrix, yeah...
Constant Offsets
The internal resolution of the parameters in the Virus sound engine is 24-bit, which theoretically allows for approximately 16 million different values for each continuously variable parameter. The MIDI specification, however, only allows for a resolution of 128 values per parameter.
Now, in most situations, a resolution of 128 values is plenty, as it still allows you to get “close enough for government work”. There are occasions, however, when you might find you really want to tune a parameter so precisely that the value you need is somewhere in between two of these 128 positions. This is why we have introduced the ability to apply a constant offset to any continuous parameter via the Mod Matrix.
1% Constant
Use this to fine tune any continuous parameter by up to 1% of the available range. This will likely only be no- ticeable when modulating parameters that affect pitch, including the cutoff frequency of a filter with very high resonance.
10% Constant
Use this to fine tune any parameter by up to 10% of the available range. In situations when Offset 1% is too subtle, try this instead.
How about Split Mode?
Split Mode: The filters are also routed in parallel with 2 poles each, but each filter receives a different set of signals: Oscillator 1 and the sub-oscillator are sent to filter 1, oscillator 2 (including FM), oscillator 3 and noise are sent to filter 2. The ring modulator is disabled.

this is very nice oli.
Great. No problem.
Nice stuff.
Yeah the screen of my virus ti2 is bugged (block of pixel in the middle). Any repair service center u would suggest near berlin?
Something similar happened to me once. I had MIDI cables connected improperly. I always throw this out there when I see posts about the screen. Worth trying especially if it can avoid sending the machine off to repair.
I'm pretty sure if you click or double click the preset in the VC browser it'll reload it. I assumed you were using the synth standalone.
You could mirror all the presets you use live in another RAM bank.
The Desktop does not have the Local setting, because it doesn't have a keyboard.
Local will turn off knob transmission too I believe. The desktop OS is different than the keys version?
I had been considering selling my Virus TI, so as it due course, I hooked it up again and played around a bit, and found that I was really enjoying it, getting nice Obie, Moog and modern sounds with ease. Add to this the layering ability through the editor (and managing to find a fast workable method of saving multis and grouping sounds to the librarian (and to the unit itself), I hastily withdrew my ad and have rekindled my friendship with the TI. A good litmus test before selling any synth!
This has happened to me many times with the TI2. Fantastic synth regardless of whether or not you're using Virus Control.
I guess it’s time to ditch the duster!
I guess other synths have been distracting me! lol. A feather duster sounds like a great idea. I'll try that.
Been there before. A Roland JV-1080 of all synths has been taking me away from the Virus recently.
I use a feather duster. And have a cheap on stage cover for my ti2 keys. Very thick dust sounds weird. Sounds like it’s been sitting untouched?
