does anyone know how to tell the rough age or date of manufacture for a Polar TI2. Is there a clue in the serial number or some other way in software maybe ?

Just bought an Access Virus Polar TI2 All is working apart from both the Mod and Pitch bend wheels. They are not transmitting MIDI or responding in anyway. The pitch bend CC though is received ok over MIDI. Have had a quick look inside in case it was something simple like the cable had become detached but no it all looks fine. Need to know if this is fixable and roughly how much i might be to repair as otherwise will need to return. Help !
