In Bank A there is a preset (I thought it was in slot 125). This one is prepared for input signals and passes them on. I have a sortlike setup, where I run the Microfreak through the Virus TI with this preset to utilize the FX on the Virus. I'm not sure if this helps you. If not, I can check my units later this week.

Isn't Class Compliant depeding on hardware? The TI has USB 1.1, is that even possible?
-
I now use the TI as a classic synth, only using the MIDI- and audio cable options. But I'm really missing the "AU" option. That was very flexibel for quickly programming patches. So paying for an upgrade is a no-brainer.

MI solution works fine for me!
-
I haven't checked the audio yet, but I must admit, the new v3 build 9001 with USB midi is very solid on my Big Sur maschine.

I tried to get the Mystery Islands working again on Big Sur (Virus TI 1 Desktop). But for me it's a big PITA. First I hooked up my Keystep 37 with classic MIDI cables. I can play notes, change parameters. It works both ways. But I can't send patches to the Virus. I get a message within the MI plugin that the Virus does not respond.
After this, I created the Simple USB Driver from the Github, same story.
Right after all this fiddling, my SSD died within my MacBook, I use this oppurtunity to go back to Mojave (crash has nothing to do with the Virus or something btw). Mojave was solid and gave me the options to work with the original Virus software.

W000000W, a website update! Let's hope this web dev also knows his way around programming a badass TI AU for the brand new macOS!
I'm currently holding off on upgrading my Mac (still run Mojave). But since I'm planning to get a new MBP with M1 Pro, Monterey is inevitable.

No need for Flash stuff I guess. The original video's were uploaded to Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/mrkempergmbh
Are these the ones you were looking for? Someone is peeking on this forum I guess

Virus HE is now compatible with M1. Just abandon the Access ship, like the employees did
-
Interesting. I wonder if he actually means using the official Access Virus Plugin through USB or if he's just referring to MIDI via USB...
EDIT: he seems to have already removed the add from Marktplaats.nl. Did you get the chance to speak to this guy?
Nope, I did not get the chance. It was gone a day after I had posted the add here.

To be honest: the TI plugin is not essential, but damn handy (USB audio on the other hand, would not be needed)! Would pay for an upgrade for sure. 50-75 euro.

Funny, I stumbled upon an add on marktplaats (dutch version of ebay), where someone is claiming to have a workaround for working with the Virus on Big Sur doing everything over USB. He is providing an implementation of the solution for 95 euro. It’s a fair price. But I am curious what he does to make it work. And if it really works….

Time to ditch the hardware if you are an in-the-box producer: https://dsp56300.wordpress.com/
Perhaps Mr Kemper can hire the guys behind this project to get his synths back on track again
-
Im afraid so too. This looks like some sort of off loading from the firmware into an emulator. But I assume the hardware is a bit more then that.
This feels more like replicating the powercore version.
On the other hand, it’s a lot more hopefull compared to what Access is promising ?

There might be some sort of light at the end of the tunnel:

Oow wow hahaha I haven't checked it yet myself. It does not come in a demo version. But great to read this is more like the real deal! I have recently sold my Snow and bought a TI1 desktop. But perhaps I could have better spend my money on Navira
btw: I came across this plugin on the Code Black facebook group (a group for Hardstyle producers, using the Hypersaw as a main ingredient for their productions).
-
Just curious.. Have you found a good alternative for the Virus? (hardware or software) I've found Dune to come close but still not quite..
I'm a little late to the party, but look at what I've came across: http://www.navira.io . They claim to have replicated the TI Hypersaw. They even advertise how cheap they are compared to the real deal.

I have bought a midi interface so I can use my Snow in combination with the mystery islands software. It doesn’t feel as a massive step back, but the USB part was more convenient.
-
I own a TI snow. Is usually use it for 1 sound at a time (render/bounce when I am happy with the result). I haven’t moved to Catalina yet, but am planning to do so when I get a new MBP.
For the time being, I am investigating the possibilities to keep using it. Which ends up with treating the Snow as a classic analog synth.
I use the input on my Apollo Twin to receive audio and send MIDI from my NI Maschine. All in combination with VirusHC.
It sucks, but software isn’t forever. So perhaps I will sell the Snow and get myself a Virus C so I will have the most controls on the unit itself.
