Is your Virus plugged directly into a USB port?
Uninstall Virus software and driver, try a different USB port.

so there's no way to audition how the release/delay/reverb fades out unless you play the entire MIDI sequence till the end OR play live using a MIDI keyboard?

Hey fellow users, wondering if anyone has a solution to this?
I have my Virus TI Desktop hooked up via USB. Whenever I stop MIDI playback, the Virus shuts down audio immediately and I don't hear the release or reverb tail.
Is there a setting to workaround this? -
+1 for Wavetable synthesis. I use Serum alot in my projects and I would like my Virus to be utilized more!

cool thanks for the calculations, never knew that voices were calculated this way.
seems less of a problem after i switch off reverb and limit unison to twin. thanks for your help! -
Would it help if I used the analog out to send audio instead of direct USB? I read some posts that if there's too much info being sent thru USB, some issues like dropouts/freezes arises.

Hi all. I am using my TI Desktop connected to Ableton Live 9 via USB and noticed that each time I try to play pads with 4-5 notes, the TI Desktop cannot consistently reproduce the desired sounds i.e. voices dropping out.
I have tried this on a single MIDI channel with unison, and the RAM icon only shows 2 bars so it's not possible (or is it?) that the TI Desktop is running out of memory. Is this a bug? How can I solve this?
