Hello all,
I purchased a second hand TI 61-key which worked perfectly. However, my HP Envy with intel Core i7 processor would not recognize it when I attempted Total Integration. (Tangent: I have read elsewhere that it is a USB 2.0 issue with some newer computers which only have USB 3.0 and 1.0.)
After numerous attempts with USB Update mode and different USB hubs, it finally recognized the Virus, albeit as another model.
About 20% of the way into the OS update, the Virus Control Center software crashed.
Current symptoms:
1. LCD screen is entirely black upon booting
2. No flashing LED lights
3. Does not play 
The good news is that TAP+CONFIG brings up the internal serial number, so it should not be corrupted, per Virus Support.
Has anyone dealt with this issue before? If not, I will simply send it to my nearest authorized service center.
I have already contacted Virus Support and we had a lengthy back and forth to no avail. Also, when in TAP+CONFIG, I am unable to exit that mode without simply unplugging the machine. Any ideas as to how to exit it properly?
