my snow ti screen write factory test mode empty flash whats happen any body knows thıs problem how ı can found solutıon ?
did you fix your virus?
Marc from Access specifically stated sometime ago here that the Virus USB ports are USB 2 compatible.
I think Mark is wrong . tusb3200 has usb 1.1 hardware implementation, not software
The usb controller in ti/ti2 virus runs on the old usb 1.1 protocol. Mac doesn't support it. to replace the usb controller, you need to change the entire architecture of the synthesizer, create a new one, this is a lot of money for a new development.
ti/ti2 is assembled on old components that have not been produced for more than 10 years.
-Did a hardware check within the Virus self test
how you start Virus self test ?

Added a picture for reference if you want to measure. The German text reads "use one of the screws as the minus terminal".
2v not correct. must be 1.8v for power dsp.
i have 1.8v
Virus TI /TI2 have couple "Test menu" with testing all voltage and booting hardware.
how start this "testmenu" to check all hardware?

How do I run the hardware test mode?
hold EXIT + TAP buttons while connecting the power
Added a picture for reference if you want to measure. The German text reads "use one of the screws as the minus terminal".
all voltages on my TI2 correspond to the photo.
can you run the hardware test mode and take a picture(video) of the test menu?
thanks
I see no corrosion there. I'd suspect a different part of the PCB entirely - the power supply.
I have tried other power sources. nothing changed
Best is to contact Access Music Support.
thanks
Hello. my ti2 virus is damaged. not booting . Is it possible to buy a new board from the ti2 virus?
good afternoon. i have the same problem as you. my ti2 virus does not show signs of life, does not turn on, does not respond to buttons. power supply is ok.
how did your incident end?
