Not suitable for beginners. You need to have a basic understanding. Just having a virus doesn't mean you can design powerful sounds, especially when you're new to synthesizers. It's recommended to start practicing with the Sylenth1 from the Plugins series

I have been looking already for a long time to add an Access Virus TI/TI2 to my music setup.

Love the trancy sounds it produces and my feeling is it just has to be part of my setup for EDM/Trance.

I use Ableton Live 11.3 suite, running on Macbook Pro M1 (Os Ventura), and a midi controller keyboard MIDI USB a Yamaha MX49 Mk2.

Also I have a Yamaha CS2X but that is more sentiments from my youth

Although I can still use the CS2X with my M-audio USB interface to my macbook pro and midi in/out cables.

Would you still recommend buying a Access Virus at the moment, with the ceased support/integration for Apple M1 computers?

Either the keyboard version, or desktop, and control the desktop with my midi keyboard.

I know that probably I shouldnt mention it here, but I would consider Novation Peak desktop as alternative, in combination with a nice ableton midi controller novation 61SL ML3.

Just because that unit has no integration issues, is still supported, and doesnt sound bad at all. Its not a virus though ......

Just a bit concerned about lack of support for Virus studio integration at the moment....

I know there are 3rd party solutions like Aura, but how does it actually work ?

I purchased TI SNOW and TC PowerCore Virus about 11 years ago

but haven't used them in at least 9 years.

In contrast, I regularly use 56300 B~C and VIPER.

The adjustment techniques are quite similar, but in terms of modifications, 56300 and VIPER offer more convenience.

Whether to make a purchase or not depends on the user's level of experience. After all, seeing many users who are not proficient,

I don't highly recommend taking the risk of purchasing without sufficient knowledge.

The data for VIRUS A is quite limited, which piques curiosity.

Virus PowerCore
Virus C
Virus Ti Snow

I have not used A, B, or the Classic versions.
May I ask, experienced friends,
Is there any difference among these three?
