Take a look on bootcamp video tutorial http://virus.info/bootcamp/
and also read sound programing pdf book which is included on virus software suite.
take a cup of coffee and play with osc and other section.
good start with initial patch with 1 osc and one filter and try to improve it.. -
Good advice i'm going to try this myself cheers

First you have to say, different than WHAT? For example:
- If you don't want dirty sounds, use low pass filters, with lots of poles and low cutoff frequencies.
- If you are fed up with squary/sawy sounds, use the wavetable oscillators.
What is it in your sounds that you are not satisfied with?

First, thanks for fast response. i know where are many ways to make differences between the virus sounds(i like the saturation and character features. also the reverbs settings (by the way the feedback hall is much cooler than the reverb hall)
But my main question is about another technics to do that.of course....if you, my lords are pleased so

my main question is about another technics to do that.
Maybe THIS is your problem? Could it be that you are too cought up with the technical side? Like, having a certain way to do things in a certain order which makes all your sounds come out the same?
If so, then you should never let the technique come first. You should look in the world around you and in your imagination for new sounds (you don't need to have any instrument beside you at that point), and then try to create them using a synth, or by processing a sample. I once heard my neighbour calling for her lost cat, and decided to create a patch in the Virus that would sound like her.

Hello First modulate( back and forwards, as best) LFO's with Envelopes or Osc's, Filters and other building parts in the MOD Matrix. Then edit your Sequencer with Gate, Length, Velocity, Midi CC, EQ, FX, etc.
My favourit book is André Ruschkowski, Elektronische Klänge, Reclams, Germany. He explains Voltage Controlled Syns , FM, Grain and Midi, etc.
What do you think about the Virus Wavetables? It's sounding very silky, isn't it?
