You don't need multiple instances to make more sounds. On the left hand side f the plugin is a list of your 16 sepearate channels. Just click on one to make a new sound on the next midi channel

I've always wondered this.
-
Surely this would make sense!? There seems to be no way to lock it so that one octave on thre keyboard equals double speed. This would be great for rhythmic patterns. But it hasn't been designed this way. its very close.... but it doesnt lock. Why?

Create a send using the virus's inputs and outputs to your monitor. Send out your interface, into virus, then back into another input.

Ah yes occasionally the timing has been a little weird. But then it always was when i was using the stereo version before... But at the moment randomly, and especially in a current proect im working on, is impossible to use basically. I think i'll switch it back! Such a shame

I did the little hack, and it appears to be working (almost) perfectly well in FL12 in multiple out version.
-
Seems to be working fine as a multiple out version..

Is there no way to use USB 1 2 and 3 outputs in FL studio?
I read a post earlier here sayng something about turning off F10StereoVersion" located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Access Music\Virus TI\Virus Control
Is this the only way? Why is there only stereo version? I can use lots of other plugins with multiple outs!? Is this FL's fault again?

Okay so i've worked out exactly what was causing this to happen
It's OSC 3 that turns on and automatically sets itself to WAVE 61 (every single time) when F3 is pressed either on midi keyboard, or in the piano roll. No joke.
I worked out that turning off "Send MOD X as Polyphonic aftertouch" in the wrapper settings stopped this happening. Just randomly i decided to try turning all of these options off and this did it.
VERY strange!!

What is this Stereo version? I only seem to have one version. It always has this large amount of delay. It's not the end of the world., just seems that 3500-4000samples. The FL studio vst wrapper settings displays this amount.
-
OK thanks for the reply, ive used FL for over 12 years and starting to grow annoyances with it big time!
-
Hi Marc, thanks for the reply. I use FL Studio. The amount i have to delay my DAW (i create a SUBMIX channel which everything routes to, apart from the virus/other hardware)
The virus plugin itself, in it's settings panel in FL, states that it has 4096ms of delay. Sometimes 3750ish (seems to vary?!) I use the USB audio not the analog outs. (they don't even seem to send any signal at all)

I'm new here. Names Michael Dow. I write trance under the same name. And also all sorts of other stuff. Had a virus C for years, now upgraded finally!
Pleased to meet you

You can just type in the amount of samples you want to delay by. I think this (4096 samples) at 44.1khz would be about 90ms
-
Is this a normal amount of latency? I have to delay the rest of my track by around 80ms. This seems like quite a lot... I mean, it is quite a lot.
Any way i can get this down to less?

Hey guys, not had the TI for long and loving it although my osc 3 keeps randomly turning itself on and also turning itself to a particular waveshape (61 i think) when using the Virus Control plugin. It's making it sometimes impossible to use, I found that it doesn't automate the osc 3 volume very often so i turn it down, alyhough sometimes it turns itself back up again...
WHY?!?!
MIDI is not connected so theres no midi out channel sending information other than the Control plugin itself/
Im using FL studio
