no sync - ableton 8.1.1/os x 10.5.6/virus OS 4.0.0.18

running this on a 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon Mac w/16 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM

i'm using an M-AUDIO ProFire 610 soundcard as my audio in/out in ableton

does anybody have this as a working setup?

i solved the problem. downloaded a free trial of rob papen"s predator. sounds as good as the virus. stable too. rock solid sync. lmao!

I've played with Predator but it ate up way too much of my CPU, a few patches went over 50% on a single note
