"USB Device Not Recognized" Unknown Device.

    My Virus Ti V2 Polar stop working, now when I turn it on I get "USB Device Not Recognized" Unknown Device. I had no problem before.
    I tried to repair, then uninstalled the TI Software, then installed the Virus TI Software Installer_v40018_x64 and I get the same problem.
    I am not using a USB hub! I tried other USB PORT and I get the same error
    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit and yes with the Software Installer_v40018_x64 (everything was working perfect before)
    No recent changes on my system. I tested all the USB POSRTS and they work ok.
    I also tried to unplug other usb devices.

    Have you tried to do such a simple thing as switching the USB-cable and check if it is malfunction?


    Else try to go to device manager and look for conflicts. I would also try to remove the device in the device manager before reinstalling the drivers.

    Unplug the Virus power cord
    Unplug all the USB and audio cable from your computer
    Holding down the ARP EDIT on your Virus, plug back in the Virus power cord and wait for 10 seconds, then release the ARP bottom
    After you see the play mode screen, reconnect all the USB and audio cable back to your computer
