with all the software updates one problem remains... it sometimes happens to me, that the sound set up for a track (with virus plugin loaded of course) is / sounds different when I load the same project later. in other words...I set up sound for a track (logic, but it seems the same for cubase) and of course I remember how it sounds. later, when i load the project the sound for this track sounds different, although the same name (and LIB prefix). i save all the patches I use in ram banks, but it's very uncomfortable to manually load them after project has loaded and sometimes it takes a while to hear the difference...
it happens from time to time, but there are patches (specially those self created) that seem to be more 'alergic'...
it's just like virus plugin didn't save a part of setting with project.
any clues?..
