Just curious about how the TI2 desktop gets wired to other machines. I'm thinking about ordering one but I kind of want the keyboard version. However, the desktop might win out due to portability.
Anyway, if I get the desktop, I'll be using it with a MacBook Pro and an Andromeda as a controller. How does all this get connected? Can I connect a MIDI cable from the Andromeda to the TI2, but still connect the TI2 to the Mac using the USB cable only? Seems like the most reasonable way to do things but I just wanted to ask before I get buyer's remorse.
I found this thread, which says that MIDI and USB can't be used at the same time:

I guess one solution would be to continue using the MIDI interface that I already have, so that the Andromeda is connected to that, not directly to the Virus...
