1.) Select any sound.
2.) Press the Edit/Shift button.
3.) Select any parameter.
4.) Press and hold the Audition Button.
5.) Press the Exit Button.
6.) Choose a different Patch.
7.) Press the Edit/Shift Button.
8.) Select any parameter.
9.) Press and hold the Audition Button.
10.) Press the Audition Button again; machine crashes....recoverable on restart.
Confirmed bug on (2) different Snows.

I have also been having this problem with my Virus Snow. I press edit/shift and audition a patch. If I hold the patch down long enough, the patch continues to play for quite some-time after my finger is off the audition button (not sure if this is a feature or a bug). However, the real problem is when I press audition more than once, quickly, I get a constant synth squeal which does not go away if I use the panic button. Even after powering down the unit, I can faintly here the squeal. Only when I unplug the power cable does the sound go away. This is occurring when I am using the unit stand-alone with headphones (haven't tried with TI & Logic). Also using a 4.1.0 version, so I'm going to upgrade to 4.1.1 and see if the problem still exists (hoping not). I really hope this isn't a hardware issue as that would be a HUGE bummer. Any thoughts or suggestions on what I can do?

I see this thread is very old but I just noticed the same thing as the OP. Did anyone else experience this or know why it happens?
