Succesfully managed to get the Virus Ti Snow running in Ableton Live 8. Midi is running in and audio is coming out. Great, you'd think.
On track 1 I have "Analog BD HS" from the Virus drum library. On track 2 "Bass 87 XM". Both are triggered by midi clips in the Midi channels, which are routed to the virus and from there to separate audio channels. I have no inserts on the master, or on any of the channels. Now, here's the thing. When I hit play just after loading the session, everything is fine. But after a few minutes of playing the sound of the Kick Drum starts to disintegrate...finally resulting in distortion and even a high beeping sound, sounding a bit like the metronome from Ableton.
Is this a buffer problem maybe? Anyone had issues like this?
