Transpose is randomly going down on Virus TI Snow

  • Hello,
I have since im owner from the Virus TI Snow sometimes the Problem
that my Transpose is going down to -55 randomly when i creating a patch.
When i work with the TI i can see in the Common section that sometimes the
transpose is jumping(in vst and on the display from the TI)..
Sometimes i can work a long time without any problems and sometimes
its impossible to create a patch because the transpose is allways changing. ?(
    I use:
    Intel Core2Quad Q8200
    MOTU Microbook
    Windows 7 Ultimate
Virus OS 4.5 (but problem appear in other OS too)

I had the problem some month ago on Windows XP and now on Windows 7..
I read that some other people also had some simliar problems and i hope
to find some help here because its impossible sometimes to have a nice sounddesign
    session with this great synthesizer...
THX for help in advance! :)

  • Hello again :)
I have seen that something (maybe my midikeyboard) is sending
sometimes randomly various midi signals to the Virus and it looks like
    this change the transpose..
I had the same problem with LARGO(VST) from Waldorf there it was the
delay mix which was jumping randomly to full dry..
    NEWS:
Now i know that it have something to do with my midi keyboard because when
i disable it in Cubase(and use virtual keyboard) all is working well..
    I think its a driver failure from my M-Audio Oxygen8 v2.
Maybe this thread can help somebody to fix weird midi occurences
(CHECK IF THE PROBLEM IS UR MIDI DEVICE IF U HAVE SOME SIMLIAR PROBLEMS)
my problem is not fixed but i think now i have to contact the M-Audio support
because its not a fault from the Virus TI Snow(OS4.5) ;)

I found the solution for my problem it was just a wobbly knob from my midikeyboard
which was automatically assigned to the transpose from the virus ti and the delay mix from waldorf largo
    loool....
Anyway im happy that i can work without problems again with the greatest synth out there

    PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
