Delay: software vs hardware

  • Haha. Yes you could have added a few sentences to clarify but I think I understand what you're identifying. Are you using automatic delay compensation or have you shifted it manually?
    Delay compensation of VC will cause the analog outs to play early. No VC running means (as typical with hardware) it will play late so you have to offset the midi clip delay timing to play early.

  • it's all covered in various documents, including quick start guide etc. the analog outs are not in sync when you use virus control. let me know if i understand your question right, i'm not entirely sure what you mean with before/after

    the delay compensation is set to long (4095 samples) as suggested in the virus guide
