FL Studio 10 setup problem

  • Hi,

I just bought a Virus TI2 Keyboard and hooked it up on my W7x64 PC with FL Studio 10, whenever I start the Virus plugin a get the message "Virus TI has discovered a setup problem. The host is using an odd audio interface buffer size which causes communication problems. Please adjust the buffer size to any of the following sample values instead: 64 128 256 512.

My soundcard is a Creative X-FI Titanium and it only allows me to put buffer latency on 1,2,4,5,710,20,40,50,60,80,100 etc. So I set my soundcard to the closest value of the Virus which is buffer latency 4, then I get a vaule of 176 samples (4ms). The Virus sits on 128 samples / 3ms.

I also noticed that the virus is not in total in sync with the sequencer, it's just a bit off..

When I setup Fl Studio to output it through the Virus USB Audio Driver`, the error message is gone but I cannot add more that 2 MIDI outs to the Virus because the 3rd will cause audio problems, probably a USB bandwidth problem.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Kind regards,

    Markus
