Bluescreen when loading up Virus Control plugin in Cubase 6 projects

TheFrown: what versions of TIOS/Live are you using? In some cases re-installing the Virus or Live sorts this. Sometimes even re-installing your computer's OS irons out all kinds of weird glitches that cause stuff like this to happen.

I have the same blue screen , would not it be a conflict between the virus and the RME fireface ?

Hi There, it is not the RME I guess. I have a MOTU 424 interface setup on a Win7 64 bits DAW using Cubase 7.5 32bit with a lot of plugins and outboard.

Yesterday I purchased a second hand Virus TI Snow and after the setup and some changes with right and wrong USB ports, the device now connects fine with Virus control software and has it's own USB controller.

However, I encountered the described problem when using it in Cubase. A short test with small testproject seems to be no problem but loading the VST in a big project gave a a Blue Screen.

I will check that workaround of using the first channel in a project.
