Access Virus TI power supply.

    My access virus gets random pops and crackles. It came with a unofficial PSU and I have tried other USB cables, a USB hub etc, and the crackles continue so I wanted to try a new PSU but the official one is 65 dollars and was wondering if anyone knew of a good location to get a replacement PSU for relatively cheap.

    If the PSU has regulated 12V 2A output, it shouldn't be a problem, and what you describe sound more like a USB load problem. But first we have to rule out that it's just that the ASIO buffer is too small. Try to increase it first (double it). Did you check how the Virus performs on each and every USB port on your computer? Are your ports USB2 or 3?
