Is it possible to design that funky lead at the end of the video version with the TI?

This is most probably a simple sawtooth that is high-passed at mid frequencies (~70) and low passed at mid-high frequencies (~100), the low pass is with a little amount of resonance (~20). Having it monophonic might help, and I think I heard some vibrato action in there.

Definitely vibrato action. I'm a complete newbie to the Virus, only just got it the other day.
Which preset do I have to have selected to apply your recipe? Thanks btw. Also isn't the lead analogue?

I'd start from the init patch, set the oscillator balance to OSC1 alone, set the filters as explained above and fine-tune the analog boost under the FX1 tab. Vibrato is already wired to the modulation wheel, courtesy of LFO3 and the modulation matrix. It could be that LFO3 rate could be set to a better value. The mono setting is under the common tab. You are using VC, aren't you?
