ableton lite w/snow?

Hi, just wondering if the version of Ableton Lite that you can download free for 30 days allows full use of the TI suite for my Snow. I'm having trouble using the Virus with GarageBand (which I know isn't supported).

I don't really need a DAW, just a way to do some exploring and organize the patches I'm most likely to use into the RAM memory. I figure I should be able to knock that out in a month. However I don't know Ableton at all and, lazy guy that I am, I'd rather not spend a whole lot of time learning the ins and outs of Live, useful as that knowledge may one day prove to be.

Turns out Reaper works well for this. I downloaded it, inserted a new track, hit the track's FX button and chose the Snow from the list. Virus Control popped right up. I'm now able to organize patches into the RAM libraries easily.
