Audio (or midi?) latency on Ableton using VC

    Hi all!


    I have a new problem, using VC 4.5.3 on Ableton 8.3
    When i load VC plugin, all my other external synths that i am monitoring on ableton get latency (i test sending them a midi sequence from ableton). If i don't load the VC, there is no latency on monitoring external hardware (ableton display 5 ms of latency). I have to say that i don't have this problem on cubase 6, only on ableton. Someone has the same problem? It is quite annoying, there is a workaround for this?

    if you're monitoring you're other synths after they've reached your sound card then yes the virus will introduce latency ( i thought this happened on all DAW's)
    the same thing will happen if you add other plugins into your set too.


    if you monitor before you're sound card then no probs
